Central Arizona Concert Band

The Central Arizona Concert Band comprises approximately sixty musicians, including many active professionals and retired professionals plus several advanced students and community members.  We have just completed our twenty-first regular season.
The Band plays a wide variety of music ranging from classic marches to arrangements of some of the classical repertoire.  Many concerts include western and Latin tunes as well as compositions by local artists and an occasional swing number.
The Band is conducted by Ms. Clydene Dechert. Her distinguished career includes positions as Conductor, Scottsdale Chamber Orchestra, Associate Conductor, Scottsdale Symphony, and Phoenix Symphony. Since coming to Prescott, she has conducted a number of theatrical productions including “Oliver”, “A Chorus Line”, “Little Shop of Horrors” and “The King and I”.
